Other Policies I support

Right To Repair

1

Owning something comes with the inherent right to repair that item. If you can’t repair something, whether its your John Deere tractor, car, or your Apple iphone, then you really don’t own it. I would adopt and sponsor a bill that individuals like Louis Rossman help push in other states. Link to his youtube and videos.

Audit Government Programs

2

We should be auditing government programs every couple of years for fraud and wasteful spending. At the end of the day, these are our tax dollars being spent and we should be holding our unelected officials accountable.

Harsher penalties for Fraudsters and fentanyl dealers

3

Scammers and fraudsters devalue and erode our high trust society and usually only end up getting a slap on the wrist. I support increasing penalties and jail time, up to seizure of all assets in extreme cases to pay back the victims. Even executives at corporations charged with fraud should be subject to jail time and not just a fine. As for fentanyl, its one of the leading cases of death for my generation and people under 40. There’s no reason why one of the largest fentanyl busts in Wisconsin only resulted in one of the dealers being sentenced to 10 years in prison, in certain circumstances we should bring back the death penalty.

Less Regulation and more incentives for small - medium size businesses

4

Running a small business is already hard, I know from personal experience. We need less hoops for people starting and operating a business, innovation and the free market benefits everyone, we don’t have a free market when the government picks and chooses the winners and losers. Big businesses shouldn’t be getting special tax breaks or abatement that makes it harder for others to compete.
